Dunmow Donate to Writtle Junior School ‘Pod’ Project25th September 2019
Dunmow Waste Management Joins the Largest Carnival and Procession.
What started as a dream has now become a reality for the children at Writtle Junior School. Their new ‘pod’ classroom has all been designed and built by the children with the aim of being a ‘chill out and therapy room’, there is even space for the school’s go-kart to be kept!
The planning and build of the pod project has relied solely on company donations whether this be time, material or skill. All the builders, carpenters, electricians and roofers have all donated and come together to make this project for the children possible.
With the children playing a part in every step of the way; from planning permission applications to laying the cement for the breeze blocks ensuring the whole build has been very educational process was the forefront of the school’s goals.
Here at Dunmow, we have donated our waste management services to the school by supplying them with skips throughout the build. We love getting involved in community projects and cannot wait to see the finished Pod in 2020!
